HALLOWEEN PARADE 2010

We would like to thank all participants of the Halloween Parade 2010. The Halloween Parade hoped to raise money for 2 charities in 2010. Sadly registration failed to raise enough to cover costs and no proceeds were made for charity.

Both charities were aware costs had to be met before there would be proceeds. This is an email from one of the charities due to benefit from the walk:

“I'm so sorry to hear that you are short and hope that it is not causing you too much stress. I know how much you put into planning and organizing the event overall, and you did a fantastic job moving it to the Printworks at such short notice, so you should feel proud of that.

“I hope you are successful in recovering your costs from MCFC as you deserve the recognition for all your hard work, and of course, it would be wonderful if Christie's and ourselves were able to get a donation in the future - however, please do not worry about this, we really appreciate the publicity you gave us on the evening.”

MANCHESTER CARER'S CENTRE - 23RD NOVEMBER 2010

The Halloween single sold over 540 copies with ALL MONEY FROM SALES being donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The Make a Wish Foundation has received all money from sales.

However other UK Zombie-Aid events raised thousands in total (exact figure TBA but estimated over £2,600)

FUTURE EVENTS

Organisers of the Halloween event in Manchester were disappointed that the event failed to raise money for charity and decided immediately that no further events would be planned by ZA Manchester unless we received sponsorship, or financial backing to cover ALL costs, leaving all entrance fees/donations to charity.

There will be no Halloween Parade in 2011 but we hope to bring it back to you in 2012.

THE PRINTWORKS, MANCHESTER

We're looking to create a vibrant and colourful parade so fancy dress is more than encouraged.

Charity! We ask for £2 as a registration fee, all the proceeds of which we give to many worthy causes.
